Today we are talking with Paula of Black Widow Demon 1. What made you want to be a writer? I never wanted to be a writer. It looked hard. (And it is!) I wanted to be a reader. But I had all of these ideas in my head. The first few times I tried writing them down, I gave up in frustration. Along with being lazy, however, I’m also persistent. One thing led to another, and my family kept encouraging me to stick with it. I have the best family ever. Also, my favorite teacher in high school (English) once told me he’d read anything I wrote. You can’t imagine how encouraging that can be, or how much praise from someone you admire sticks with you when you have little niggly doubts lighting fires in the back of your head.
