Book Spotlight and E-Book Giveaway with Erika Kathryn

Image
Hello, Today our book Spotlight is from Erika Kathryn   Audie, a seemingly typical twelve-year-old girl, is summoned from her middle school one day. She travels through a windmill farm and brought to an island where she’s told that she is actually an Angel and, more importantly, that she is of Phoenix descent. She is the pivotal and final member of an assembly of others her age, called The Angel Army. The army includes Luce—the dangerously handsome dark Angel predestined to fall from Heaven—and Cave—a stowaway from Earth who is crushing on her hard—as well as eight Angels with magical talents, a feisty Fairy, and a nimble gnome. Audie’s ordinary life becomes drastically different as she transforms; she sprouts gold wings, receives a halo passed on from the mother she never met, and her fellow Angels teach her to use her hand-me-down Phoenix powers. However, before she even learns to fly she is told of the real reason she is needed: an evil Elder Angel has discovered a way

What would you bring?

Image
Have your every just sat back and thought about all the good things in your life. Well I have reflected over the past few days. I have discovered that I may not have everything that I want in life. But I am very happy with what I do have. Sometimes we dwell on the things we don't have and forget the wonderful things in our lives. With that being said, some of the wonderful things in my life are my family. I have great friends, a good job that I enjoy. And I have a place to live and food to eat. Not everyone can make that statement. So I pose a question to you. If you had to go to a deserted island, and you could bring 5 items, what would they be and why? My answer: My family(I could not live without them), food (we have to eat), camping gear (we could have a dry place to sleep), books (my kindle would not work  :-(), bug spray( not a bug fan) (lol)

Author Interview

Image
Author Interview with Catherine Wolffe I want to start by thanking you for having me on your blog today. I love talking about my books and the inspiration behind my writing. 1. What made you want to be a writer? For me, wanting to be a writer has evolved over the last several years. I've always enjoyed reading and somewhere around 2008 I decided I wanted to write. Having never attempted more than a few short stories, I began a long and arduous journey that continues today. We never stop learning, so I continue to work at the craft and enjoy each new victory. 2. Who is your favorite author ? I'd have to say, Nora Roberts. I've read everything she's put out and reread many of her books over and over. Her characters have such life and depth. I love her voice as well as her alter ego's, JD Robb. 3. What is the name of the last book you read That would be Tarnished Knight by Bec McMasters. I think I found a new sub-genre to enjo

Author interview with Erika Kathryn!!!

Author Interview with Erika Kathryn Book Title: Audie the Angel and the Angel Army Vol. 1, Audie  the Angel and the Aging Plague Vol.2 1. What made you want to be a writer? I have wanted to write for as long as I can remember.  This wasn’t something I just decided to try out one day, I have been doing this for more than a decade and I think it’s just my calling.  It’s the best way for me to be creative and I love the adventures you can go on with writing.  If writing was a choice for me, I would probably have avoided it because it is a tough industry!  But luckily for me, I can’t live without it.     2. Who is your favorite author? JK Rowling for many of the obvious reasons, but most especially because she is a really decent human being.  She has given back and paid it forward for years now and been such an inspiration.  She was really the reason I picked books back up when I was in college.  She made reading fun again for me and money can’t buy that.     3. What i

Everyone meet JC Valentine Author of That First Kiss. She is going to tell us a few things about herself Welcome JC, 1. What made you want to be a writer? Well, I used to write all the time as a kid, but I only really got into it professionally in the last few years. I was inspired to start again when a friend of mine announced that she was writing a story. I figured, why not? It might give me something fun to do with my down time, and it did! Now I want to be a writer because I love the creation process and I love knowing that I can give other people a few hours of enjoyment. 2. Who is your favorite author? That’s a really hard question. If I had to choose only one, I guess I would have to go with Larissa Ione. She is a master at creating lust and love and mixing it with action and drama. 3. What is the name of the last book you read? Forever Too Far by Abbi Glines. 4. Tell us about yourself in 3 words? Perfectionistic Procrastinating Workaholic 5. What is yo
