Book Description:
Stupid curse! Yves Sucat was a Crusader trapped in a canine body…until a beautiful twenty-first century dog groomer offered the missing link to break his spell. But Regina Patterson was no fluffy-headed female who would instantly melt at Yves' silvery seduction. The more time he spent with the tender-hearted blonde, the less he was able to keep his paws—hands!—off of her.
Regina was much more comfortable with dogs than men, and the stunningly handsome – stunningly male – knight who now shared her apartment was no exception. She’d hoped to find a man as loyal as the pooches she pampered day after day, but would Yves’s broken curse end with her own broken heart?

Author Interview with Deborah Jay of The Prince's Man

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Deborah Jay Author of The Prince's Man

1. What made you want to be a writer?
I’ve always been a storyteller, and as soon as I could read I wanted to be a writer to share those stories that are buzzing around inside my head. I devoured everything at the local library that involved space ships or magic, and I wrote my first book when I was 8 – Samantha, the Adventurous Poodle. Why a poodle? I’ve no idea, but she popped into my brain and demanded to be shared and I’ve been writing ever since.
2. Who is your favorite author? Tricky – there are so many! If I must pick just one, then it will have to be Ursula Le Guin, doyen of science fiction and fantasy.

3. What is the name of the last book you read ‘Death by a Honeybee’ – along with my devotion to SFF. I love a good murder mystery and this was a great read.

4. Tell us about yourself in 3 words? Busy, ginger, sporty

5. What is your favorite activity?
I’m a pro dressage rider during the day,…

Haven Virtural Book Tour Interview with Celia Breslin Author of Haven

Today I the pleasure of interviewing Celia Breslin.

1. What made you want to be a writer?

My Irish grandmother started it with her stories of the Fae, including one tale of her encounter with a Banshee in her root cellar. Imagination fueled, I wrote a lot of fairytales as a kid.

2. Who is your favorite author?

So hard to pick just one! Currently, I’m obsessed with anything written by Laura Kaye, Kresley Cole, and Larissa Ione.

3. What is the name of the last book you read?

South of Surrender, by Laura Kaye (book 3, Hearts of the Anemoi series)

4. Tell us about yourself in 3 words.

My husband decided to answer this one. “Sexy, smart, funny.” I think he’s a keeper, wouldn’t you agree? *grins*

5. What is your favorite activity?

Is this a trick question? LOL. Writing, of course. :-)

6. If your book could be made into a movie, which actors would you have play the main two characters?

We’d need actors in their mid 20s for Carina and Alexander, so I’d love the following actors and actresses to show…

Getting Prepared for the New School Year

It is that time again, Fall season means back to school time. Time to regulate bed times, get together school clothes, check school supply lists. One thing I like to do before the school year is to review school year rules. During the summer it is a totally different set of rules. I am more flexible with bed times and TV times. But during the school year, it is on point time. A neat trick is to post the rules so you can refer the kids to them, when they question one and they will.

Below are some of the things I do to get ready for the upcoming school year:

Print of school supply list from school websiteCheck my school supply stashGo through clothes to see what items they needThe weeks leading up to the beginning of school check sales flyer's for adsBuy tissue boxes and  hand sanitizerCheck the school website for Meet the Teacher daySign up for weekly school newsletter (they usually are done by email)If your child's school has a Home Access system( this can be used to check gr…
