What made you want to be an author? I love books. Reading has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I thought about writing a romance novel in high school although being a screenplay writer was more my dream. I don’t know that I ever thought about wanting to be an author per se. When I finally started writing (after reading a story I didn’t like), I just wanted to see if I could finish a book and sell it. I fell in love with writing, and that was it. 2. What inspires you to write your stories? I get a kernel of an idea and I want to see what happens, but to be honest, writing is my career and our family budget counts on what I make, so that inspires me to write a lot! 3.
