Good Morning, We are hear today chatting with Melissa McClone about her Chocolate Shop Series, check out our interview and the prize that she is giving away today on The Simple Things in Life. 1. What made you want to be an author? I love books. Reading has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I thought about writing a romance novel in high school although being a screenplay writer was more my dream. I don’t know that I ever thought about wanting to be an author per se. When I finally started writing (after reading a story I didn’t like), I just wanted to see if I could finish a book and sell it. I fell in love with writing, and that was it. 2. What inspires you to write your stories? I get a kernel of an idea and I want to see what happens, but to be honest, writing is my career and our family budget counts on what I make, so that inspires me to write a lot! 3. Hello Keisha, thank you for having me today as your guest. 1.      What made you want to be a writer? I do love reading. Always did.  I spent many years in and out of hospital and really it was all I could do for a long time.  And  of course I fell in love with romance novels  –  the usual Barbara Cartland stuff.  Then about 12 years ago when we got our first PC I met a lady on line who was a writer, and  she encouraged me…so I did, and I haven ’ t stopped writing since! 2.      Who is your favorite author? I have a few really.  Sophia James who writes wonderful historicals in the Regency period and medieval.  Then I love too Sandra  Hill for her time travel romances, her humor and her super hunky heroes!
