Here are the basics about The Lantern Fest in your area

October 10th 



Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY. 



Gates open at 3pm 
activities for kids include: face-painting, balloon twisters, live music, princesses, marshmallow roasting for s'mores, stage show and various competitions



When the sun goes down we release thousands of beautiful lanterns



Tickets are currently $35 for adults (all those ages 15 and up) kids passes are just $5.

    I've never been to a lantern fest before but it sounds cool...and Sparta is less than 2 hours from where we live!

    I am a total coffee drinker and drink it year round. My sister is a tea person and we recently visited Elmwood Inn Tea store and wow...had no idea a tea store smells so great (although not as good as coffee). Tea is good but not near as good as coffee! ;)

Hello Keisha, thank you for having me today as your guest. 1.      What made you want to be a writer? I do love reading. Always did.  I spent many years in and out of hospital and really it was all I could do for a long time.  And  of course I fell in love with romance novels  –  the usual Barbara Cartland stuff.  Then about 12 years ago when we got our first PC I met a lady on line who was a writer, and  she encouraged me…so I did, and I haven ’ t stopped writing since! 2.      Who is your favorite author?
