As a wolf shifter with razor-sharp senses, Jessa Lebron can perceive the slightest change in the air. And her lupine instincts go into overdrive right before her mother, who abandoned her years ago, returns to the pack bearing secrets that change everything.
The biggest secret of all: Jessa is dragon marked, a designation that places her in grave danger. The dragon marked are destined to resurrect the dragon king, a fearsome ancient warmonger. And they must be eliminated.
Soon Jessa is locked up in Vanguard, the notorious paranormal prison that houses criminal vampires, feys, and magic users. Thankfully, she’s not alone: Braxton Compass, her best friend and a dragon shifter, has her back. Jessa and Braxton must find a way to free themselves and the rest of the dragon marked. But can her pack mates help her stop the dragon king before his deadly return?

My review

Loved the book, was actioned packed and a page turner. Jessa and her pack the Compass brothers work great together as characters. The brothers always have her back no matter the crazy things that she gets herself into. There is a great deal of detail building with the book, so you feel as though you are their with them.  There are some twist and turns in the books that will keep you up reading till the wee hours of the morning. Jessa is everything you want in a lead character she has that soft side without being a pushover. She truly has a great connection with all the Compass brothers. Take a moments to check this selection out on Amazon. I am also hosting a giveaway. Please enter below:

  1. Always love a review of a good book! And as a novelist, just love people touting books in general. Aren't you just tweaked by character-driven stories!

  2. The last book that I read was Spells and Scones by Bailey Cates.
