Simple Author Interview with Shannon Pearce Author of Into the Night!!!!

1. What made you want to be a writer?

I really don’t know, I’ve always just loved stories. I love telling them, and listening to them. So it’s just something I’ve been doing even before I learned to write, so writing just feels right and it’s what I love to do.

2. Who is your favorite author?

The answer to this changes every week and with every mood. If I went by the author I have the most books from I’d have to say R.L Stine (I love Goosebumps books! I have hundreds :P) or probably Richelle Meed because of the Vampire Academy and Golden Lilly series.

3. What is the name of the last book you read
the last book I read was Blackout by Mira Grant, book three in her Newsflesh series.

4. Tell us about yourself in 3 words?

I had to ask my friend this because I really couldn’t do it and this is the answer I got:

Crazy, evil genius… he he just joking, Quirky friendly awesome.

So I’ll go with her answer, either one J

5. What is your favorite activity?

Good question, I don’t really have one I love to lots of things. I’m the type of person that does whatever I feel like doing at the time. If I would have to pick one it would be a tossup between reading and drawing, I think.

6. If your book could be made into a movie? Which actors would you have play the main two characters?
Ok there are three main characters so I have to mention Damien as well. Sadly I couldn’t think of anyone that really looks like my picture of my characters but these guys are pretty close.

Xavier Connor: Diego Boneta

Reasons: he can sing and Xavier is a self-professed king of Karaoke.

He’s not perfect but his hair is right, just dye it black, add fangs and some contacts he’d be close.

Misty West: Odette Yustaman,

Reasons: she just looks close to how I picture Misty :P

Damien West: Dean Geyer,

Reasons: besides that facts he’s totally hot! I think he could pull off being Damien West lol

7. Who is your favorite character in your book?
My favourite character is probably Damien because he’s so much fun to write for. He’s not a huge part of this one but the next one is more about him J

8. What's in your TBR ( to be read) pile?

Oh there is way too many to list, I buy like three new books a week, we’d be here forever :P

9. What are 3 of your pet peeves?

People who use the ten item or less line with a full trolley

Skinny Jeans on men

People who refuse to do the speed limit until they reach the overtaking lanes then go so fast you can’t over take them only to slow back down again as soon as the lanes finish!

10. What's your favorite ( cats or dogs), ( coffee or tea), and what's your favorite food?

Dog or cat : I'm a dog person, I have three. Woof, Maggie and My baby boy Titan J

Tea or Coffee: Tea all the love, love tea.

Favourite food?: tossup between Southern fried chicken and Spaghetti Bolognese
